The Road So Far

As a pharmacist and PhD in Pharmacology, I focus on demystifying drugs and diseases, with an emphasis on inflammation, immunity, and cancer. My research spans from cell culture studies to animal models of disease, with a focus on translating experimental findings into clinically relevant insights. Driven by a passion for evidence-based innovation, my ultimate goal is to contribute meaningfully to patient care through the integration of bench-side discoveries into real-world therapeutic strategies.

Through this site, I share My Publications, and offer insights into current scientific advances through evidence-based Blog Articles.

Education

My academic and professional trajectory reflects a sustained commitment to advancing knowledge across pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. I began with Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from the University of Peshawar (2005–2010), establishing a comprehensive foundation in clinical and pharmaceutical disciplines. This was followed by an MPhil in Pharmacology (2012-2014) from the same institution, where I developed a focused expertise in experimental pharmacology and drug action.

To expand the translational relevance of my work, I pursued Doctoral Research (PhD) at the Drug and Herbal Research Centre, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2015–2019), where I investigated immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory mechanisms in rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease. In parallel with my research trajectory, I completed a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) at Khyber Medical University (2022–2023), underscoring my interest in academic development and the pedagogy of health sciences.

Additionally, I successfully passed the Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences (KAPS) exam and have obtained provisional registration with Pharmacy board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)), positioning myself for future clinical practice and global engagement in pharmacy and healthcare education.
